Crop Simulator

A long-term project exploring whether crop models and AI can help test decisions before spending full seasons in the field.

Concept illustrationResearch

Goal

The aim is not to replace field trials. It is to see whether simulation can narrow the number of real-world experiments needed and make those experiments better designed.

Current stage

The project is still being scoped. The first useful version needs to model a small, testable crop decision rather than pretending to simulate an entire farm perfectly.

Timeline

THE PROJECT SO FAR
  1. SEP 2026

    Research direction

Started collecting books, crop-model ideas and possible data sources.

  2. NOW

    Scoping

Reducing the problem into smaller decisions that can be modeled and later checked against real field observations.

Keep exploring.
